This hose is what I’ve been looking for for months. It feels great and of great quality! Does not kink. Easy to maneuver and could up like a hose should. So I purchased another for the back yard.5 stars all the way and a great price.this hose is excellent quality. i still have a continental hose from 25 years ago that is still holding up good. i bought 4 apex 25 ft rubber hoses last year that are ok but nothing in quality to the continental or the craftsmen brand. i wish continental would make a 25 ft version. if you use your hoses frequently like i do rubber hoses are much easier to deal with than cheap junk hoses.Can't understand 1 star review on kinking. Minimal kinking, minimal. These Goodyear Made in USA hoses bought year ago now both 100' & 50' are solid rubber heavy duty hoses. Our hoses have sat in mountain weather outside for a year & both still perform well with no splitting, major kinking or leaks on either. Have reordered the 50 ' for home in LA in 2014. Pros are: durable, no leaks, strong couplings, both male & female. Buy a good nozzle, firehouse type & you are set.Cons: very heavy but if you want the hose to last & buy the no kink lightweight spring TV types which have all kinds of weather, & pressure issues, maybe Goodyear hose is not for you.Have even attached the hose to high pressure washer for decks & stone sidewalks with excellent results. If you find a better hose for the cost, durability & weather resistance abilities let me know. I couldn't find one.Amazing quality. Some might say it is overkill for the average person.Killer price.Do not be fooled. This is the same as the "blue" versions some sell for MUCH more online. BUT it is NOT the same as the junk the big box stores sell.I bought this hose because it is made of real rubber. Real rubber hoses don't kink when you drag and twist them around the ground as one does when he working with water outdoors. Although this hose it is a little heavy (which is not a problem for me) this hose Does Not Kink and works well. I would certainly buy this hose again, should I need another hose.Not quite kink proof, but nearly so. Good flow. Handles well. But weighs more than any hose I've owned. Which is ok, I was looking for a heavy duty hose that would last.After spending $100,s on hoses made in China I finally bought a good hose made in the USA. So nice, doesn't kink and the ends seem to stay put. This is replacing the best Hose I could find at the local HD that lasted less than 15 seconds before the end blew off. I had to pay a little more but it will be worth it in the long run.Very substantial hose! However, it is a little unruly. I don't know if it is the 5/8" or being red rubber that makes it less manageable than the black 50' 1/2" rubber hose I also have.
