We have used it everyday for idk atleast a month . Seems durable came with gaskets doesn't leak. I like being able to shut it off from valve at handle . The sprayer handle works good . Definitely takes a min to get used to because if you drain hose all the way it shrinks to very small. If I get a full rest of summer out if it I'll be happy but having a feeling in will last a couple years for sure .Love this hose! No problemsI bought this nozzle because the old one was leaking, wouldn't shut off completely, and was basically beat. Due to the price, I originally bought this unit as a spare to an additional nozzle that I thought was better. I tried them both and decided to use this unit and keep the other as a spare. This nozzle has 7 preset spray patterns. I was impressed with the selection from a fine mist for watering seedlings to a jet stream. The settings in between were all of use and not alike. This nozzle was shipped quickly and was packed in a box with extra washers. The jet stream is impressive. I was watering the garden when I found myself surrounded by a herd of unruly grandchildren with new water water pistols. Their attack was quickly thwarted with the jet stream setting. This nozzle is effective at 40 feet. I may buy another just as a spare. I suspect these varmints are plotting revenge.I may not have read the review correctly as I thought I could turn on the water and it would stay charged to allow me to just grab the spray nozzle and hose down what was needed. That is not the case, must turn on water each time. I have played around with the rubber rings provided but for what ever reason it does leak a bit when in use. Lots of Great options for types of spray and volume, love that part.UPDATE! I want to Correct my above review! This wonderful garden hose nozzle DOES have the option to lock the the water flow so one does Not have to keep squeezing the handle. I was wrong saying it didn't have that option. User error :/ Sorry.I was amazed at how well this works. Versatile and a very comfortable grip. The spring is strong enough to snap it closed tight but not difficult at all to hold open for long periods of time. There was a small bit of leakage from the cap but very little. The different settings address all of my needs. The very gentle mist will not damage even the most delicate plant yet the jet, while not being a power washer, was peeling the old paint from my house! The fan covers a wide angle for garden watering and with the spray I can water plants directly without too much pressure on them.All in all, I would buy this again in a second. Now to see how many years it lasts but it seems very well built and of good quality material.So far (1 week) we are impressed - enough to buy a second. This head is simple, effective and appears to be durable, or at least be much more likely to last than plastic spray heads. It is also very reasonably priced so won't be a big disappointment or waste of money if it doesn't last any longer than the plastic ones we've had to replace. The selection of spray patterns is good, and very simple to change by turning the front click-stop ring. That ring is plastic so hope that doesn't end up being a weak spot in the long run. Best of all it is very light to hold - most metal heads are heavy and clunky, but this is as light as a cheap plastic head. If it proves to be as durable as a good brass head it will be the perfect spray head.I ordered this spray nozzle a few months ago and it performed well until I had an issue with it. I still thought it was a good value and ordered another as a replacement. When I wrote the supplier to mention the issue, they immediately sent another nozzle to make up for the first one that was past the return date. I was greatly impressed with the supplier's (aspiredesire) concern for my satisfaction. My guess is the malfunction of the original might have been my fault. They didn't question that, just took immediate action to be certain I was satisfied.This comment is at least 10 times more than I normally write, but I thought aspiredesire is deserving of the acknowledgement.This would be a great nozzle except for one problem. There is no center setting--at least not the kind that most nozzles have as a center. There is something they call "center," but it sprays water in a circle with about four tiny jets in the middle. Unless you have a circle you want to water, it is completely useless. Most "centers" are more like a cross between a shower and a jet--sort of a narrow shower, which is something I use a lot. But this item has no such setting. Otherwise, it's not a bad nozzle. I do like the fact that they have the "jet" and "shower" settings next to each other so you don't have to turn the thing halfway around to change settings, as in some other nozzles. I wouldn't buy this again, though, simply because it lacks one of the features I use most.
