Good product and quick shipmentThis product is made in China as a lot of other pipe connectors of this type of design are. They are not built to required specifications for connection to standard pipe or hose. The barb ends are too thin and diameter is too narrow for tight fit to the pipe or hose. This guarantees a leaky connection that requires a different manufactured fitting.I bought nylon elbows for my chlornator two but those elbows split open in the seam of the casting. So I decided to buy these stainless steel elbows and replaced those nylon ones. They are working very good. As you can imagine I needed something that could take the chemical and last. I am now changing my review. They are not worth the money spent they are already starting to rust and is a matter of time before they fail me.This is a good product, it performs as it should. It appears to be well made and I have had no issues with the product.Very nice piece. It worked well for the heater hose on an intake. It looks good and fit nicely.This is not 5/8. It is metric and .10 inch smaller in diameter making it almost 9/16 wish I checked sooner, the return date passed 2 days ago. Hose slips right off, no matter how much I tighten the clamp, it still leaks because it is not the stated size.Also the ID is smaller which will result in a decent flow restriction.Don't waste your money.dont wast your time. have to return now.This fitting is great quality for the price and worked great.Finally something that is what it is.
