I LOVE Jambu! I have several summer shoes & a pair of boots which have made it through the past couple years & still are in good shape! These came very well packaged. I know how Jambu fits, so I order a 9 to allow room for mid weight socks. They fit comfortably and I can still wear my toe rings. I was concerned with the snake-skin-type trim....I HATE reptiles....but it really isn't close to snake skin. It's more like a shiny diamond pattern, nice leather feel. Very comfy to wear. The lacing CAN be loosened if you need a little more room in the ankle area, especially wearing socks. I had no problems getting on or off. These will look great with jeans, leggings, even skirts/dresses. They are a little stiff at first, so I recommend wearing them a little every day to soften them up BEFORE you really want to start wearing them. You can't go wrong with Jambu.I purchase the black boots with silver trim. So comfortable and easy to wear. I get many compliments from all kinds of people. Some think they look slick, some think they look punk rock, some think they look industrial. I think they are so flexible that they have earned a solid spot in my winter shoe rotation. Tights and girlie dresses, leggings and comfy sweaters, jeans and edgy tops. All look so cute, and I know my feet will be super comfy wherever I need to roam. Fit wise, they may be slightly loose, but I think that is to allow for thick boot socks. They broke in with one wearing and are holding up very well after many, many wearings.I ordered up a 1/2 size because I like to wear thick socks in the winter. I'm glad I did, but others may want to go with their regular size. These are super cute and so comfortable right off the bat. The snakey looking piece at the top is backed with a continuation of smooth leather that extends from the inside of the boot upwards, so it is not scratchy on the ankle as one might think from the picture. Very comfy. Many compliments on these already. My go-to winter boots.I liked the leather and color, but wanted a slightly tighter and less clunky fit. The laces were not able to help with that. I also didn't care for the shiny material inside the top. So despite some good points, I decided to return them.Beautifully made. I wish I ordered a size larger.Great looking boot, of good quality...but not for me. The toe box was not high enough, and even without socks pinched the tops of my toes. I typically only have this fit problem with ballet flats, not boots.A little big, but the next size down was too small. I have worn these to death and wish I could get another pair. Comfortable and stylish.These are very cute. Hey run at least a full size too small. I wear 8.5-9 in all shoes, bought these in an 8.5 and they’re super small, fit more like an 8.I've had these boots for a couple of years now, they are 100% leather uppers, and have been wearing well. I love the side zipper, and laces feature. I wasn't so sure about the silver upper bit, but have come to like it. It's not too distracting. I've received lots of compliments on these casual boots and I wear them almost daily!I love these! I ordered 1/2 size bigger as I had read earlier reviews. These boots are so cute and I will be able to wear a wool sock which is perfect for cooler or rainy winter weather. I'm taking these on vacation with me to Vancouver Island which is all about rain in the winter.I purchased these over the Christmas holidays and have worn them almost every day since then. I love them. They are a bit wide, but I wear them with a heavier sock, so no issues.Love these! They fit a little snug, but stretch a bit.
