The olive color is very pleasing and it is very well constructed. Coming out of the box, it has absolutely no toxic chemical smell that you get off of most unsafe hoses made in China. The material is soft and pliable, and diameter is smaller than a normal hose which makes it easier to handle and lightweight, while still putting out just as much water pressure as a large hose. This hose would be especially good for elderly or handicapped people who have trouble hauling around very large, heavy hoses, or people who are tired of the mess trying to store huge tangled hoses.The hose, the metal fittings and even the box are all clearly marked Made in USA.UPDATE April 2016: The old hose is still like brand new despite being used through several hot southern summers.
